After the prologue, the story itself begins at the Last Supper, where Jesus is present as a light. Thereafter, his figure shifts from one dancer to another, and both women and men carry the mantle of Jesus. Passio takes a stand on inclusion and exclusion. The work asks what is eternal, and what sustains us in life.<\/p>\n<p>Passio was originally part of Turku&#8217;s European Capital of Culture year in 2011 and was then performed in Turku Cathedral. Choreographer Lindfors received the Church&#8217;s Culture Prize for the work the same year. As the cathedral is now closed, the piece will be performed on ERI&#8217;s stage.
